But her true passion in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sam passed away at the age of 56 on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Iberia Medical Center. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Boutte; an infant son, Jaivis Caro; and a grandson, Keiland Rebert.
Visitations will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m.; with the Rev. Bobby Hodnett and the Rev.
