SHERRY ANN BOUDREAUX

July 17, 1945-May 27, 2016
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Sherry Theriot Boudreaux was called to heaven Friday, May 27, 2016, at her home in Morgan City. As an adored “granny,” she especially treasured time with her grandchildren and also enjoyed working in her garden.
Born in Bayou L’Ourse and a resident of Morgan City, Sherry’s memory will be cherished by her devoted husband of 49 years, Milton Boudreaux Sr.; three loving children, daughter, Alicia Boudreaux Price of Morgan City, son, Milton Boudreaux Jr. and his wife, Maggie Jones Boudreaux, of Ruston, and daughter, Kristi Boudreaux Obst and her husband, Don Obst, of Morgan City; and three precious grandchildren, LeeAnne Elizabeth Price of Morgan City, and Benjamin Byron Boudreaux and Lyla Joy Boudreaux, both of Ruston.
Sherry is also survived by two brothers, Jerry Theriot of Morgan City and Melvin Theriot of Metairie; and four sisters, Lola Theriot Freeman of Ricohoc, Elsie Theriot Aucoin of Dularge, Francis Theriot Listi of Morgan City, and Debbie Theriot LeBlanc of Thibodaux; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Landry Theriot and her father, Ivy Basil Theriot.
Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m., all held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
