Police Reports 6-20-16

Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrests:
Ricky Johnson, 53, of New Iberia, was arrested Saturday and charged with disturbing the peace and released on a summons.
Benjamin Rogers, 19, of Duson, was arrested Sunday and charged with criminal trespassing and released on a summons.
Germany Broussard, 36, of Leona Street, Morgan City, was arrested Sunday and charged on two Assumption Parish warrants for failure to appear for simple criminal damage to property and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and Assumption Parish warrant for failure to appear for resisting an officer. He was incarcerated at the parish jail.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the Uniformed Patrol Division:
Richard Giroir Jr., 56, of Monroe, was arrested Saturday at 12:52 am and charged with hit and run driving, careless operating of a motor vehicle and on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. No bail was set.
Jerry J. Cadiere Jr., 44, of Grayson, was arrested Friday at 1:16 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt and speeding and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and driving with a suspended license. Cadiere was released on a $5,000 recognizance bond.
Quincy L. Toups, 35, of 1301 First St., Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 10:27 a.m. and charged on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. No bail was set.
Lashondra S. Watkins, 25, 505 Brashear Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 6 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence, possession of Schedule I drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.
Linda Lange, 52, of 2112 Hebert St., Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 8 p.m. and charged on a warrant from Franklin Police for telephone harassment. Lange was released on a summons to appear in court.
Marquis J. Brown, 23, of 109 Edward Lane, Jeanerette, was arrested Saturday at 8:37 p.m. and charged with illegal use of weapons. No bail was set.
Kimberly A. Colletti, 31, of Saucier, Miss., was arrested Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and charged on a warrant for probation violation. No bail was set.
Brandon Durkins, 26, of 106 Southeast Blvd., Bayou Vista, was arrested Sunday at 3:09 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. No bail was set.
Juan Salazar-Maldonado, 23, of 250 Texas St., Berwick, was arrested Sunday at 10:46 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace (fighting) and criminal damage to property. Salazar-Maldonado was released on a summons to appear in court.
Rigoberto Cruz-Barrios, 30, of Houma, was arrested Sunday at 10:46 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace (fighting) and criminal damage to property. Cruz-Barrios was released on a summons to appear in court.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Sidney Couvillier, 49, of Chauvin Drive, Franklin, Friday at 9:50 p.m. on a charge of fourth offense domestic abuse battery. He was held on $50,000 bond.
Henry Randle Jr., 33, of Theresa Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 10:25 p.m. on warrants charging him with criminal damage to property and simple assault, and he was additionally charged with resisting an officer with force and violence, battery on a police officer, criminal damage to property-two counts and disturbing the peace by fighting.
On May 18, while in the area of Forest and Barrow Street, Randle allegedly approached a victim’s vehicle and began banging on the vehicle causing damage to the vehicle and he reportedly threatened to harm the victim.
On June 17, officers responded to a complaint of a disturbance on Theresa Street. Randle was allegedly fighting with another individual and broke the window on a vehicle window belonging to a neighbor.
When officers advised Randle he held active warrants for the Franklin Police Department and attempted to place him under arrest, Randle allegedly started resisting officers and ran at and punched an officer in the head. Randle fled on foot leading officers in a short foot pursuit. Once officers apprehended Randle and were searching him, he allegedly started pushing off of the police unit causing damages to the unit. Randle was processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Allen Jones, 39, of Martin Luther King Boulevard, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 8:09 p.m. on charges of battery on a police officer and held with no bond set.
The following two arrests stem from officers responding to a residence on Pine Street in reference to a battery. Sadedra Boatman and Deandre Grismore allegedly forced their way into the residence and began striking the victim causing swelling to her face. Boatman allegedly had a pocket knife and cut the victim on her face. The victim did receive treatment at Franklin Foundation Hospital for her injuries.
Boatman, 29, of Ash Street, Franklin, was charged at 7:11 p.m. Sunday on charges of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, aggravated battery with medical attention and disturbing the peace by fighting. She was released on $5,000 bond.
Grismore, 29, of Ash Street, Franklin, was charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, second degree battery with medical attention and disturbing the peace intoxicated. No bond was set.
Morris Thibeaux, 60, of Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 9:16 p.m. on charges of remaining where forbidden and disturbing the peace by public intoxication. He was held on $1,000 bond.
