St. Martin schools will be closed until Monday

St. Martin Parish Public Schools will remain close until Monday due to flooding in the parish, Schools Superintendent Lottie Beebe said in an email.
Following a meeting with parish and city officials, Beebe decided to close all St. Martin Parish Public Schools until Monday. Rising flood waters continue to affect many roads and homes in various areas of the parish.
Central office supervisory and administrative staff, clerical employees, and custodial and maintenance staff not impacted by flooding conditions are to report to work.
