LETHA MAE DAUPHINE

Letha Mae Dauphine, 60, a resident and native of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 9:13 p.m., at her residence.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 2 p.m. Burial will follow funeral services in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Franklin. Archbishop Willie Ross will officiate the services.
Memories of Letha Mae will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, Gilbert Dauphine Sr. of Franklin; six daughters, Penny Dauphine of Baton Rouge; Stacey Dauphine and Latisha Blanks, both of Franklin, Mrs. Desmond (Emberly) Charles and Mrs. Marfrancis (Kimberly) Palmer, all of Orange, TX, and Mrs. Roman (Genevia) Baker of Baldwin; one son, Gilbert Dauphine Jr. of Monroe; three stepsons, Toby Wells of Metairie, Tramall Tardy of New Iberia and Mathews Blanks of Franklin; and a special nephew, Anthony Bourda; three brothers, Clarence Fine of Beaumont, TX and Howard Gabriel and Paul Fine, both of Franklin; three sisters, Patricia Rideaux, Ernestine Gable and Sheila Fine, all of Franklin; 36 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; a daughter-in-law; and other relatives and friends.
Letha Mae was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, one brother, two grandsons, and a devoted friend.
