ZAKIYA M. STANSBURY

Zakiya M. Stansbury, 5, a resident of Verdunville and a native of Verdunville, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016, at 3:01 p.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
Visitations will be Saturday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Otis Mortuary Inc. Chapel in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at the mortuary. Interment will follow in the Little Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Verdunville.
Survivors include her parents, Gabrielle and Thomas Porter of Verdunville; one sister, Zuria Stansbury, two brothers Kameron and Thomas Stansbury, all from Verdunville; Special Aunts, Dr. Edna Foster and Waletta August; Special Uncle, Brandon Stansbury; Grandparents, Ealter and Gail Stansbury Jr, of Verdunville; Great Parients, Elder Walter and Mary Louise Stansbury of Verdunville.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
