BARBARA ANN THERIOT KREIDER

Barbara Ann Theriot Kreider, 90, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Barbara was born July 16, 1926, in Morgan City, the daughter of Clay J. Theriot and Jeanette Parr Theriot.
Barbara was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church and she was a member of the Catholic Daughters. She was the secretary of Holy Cross Elementary School for many years.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three children, Clay J. Kreider of Longmont, Colorado, Renee E. Kreider of Morgan City, and Dean F. Kreider and wife Margaret of Morgan City; two grandchildren, Alyssa A. Kreider and fiancé Corey Sailer of Longmont, Colorado, and Nicholas F. Kreider of Lafayette; two great-grandchildren, Colton Sailer and Kyrsten Sailer; one sister, Elizabeth T. Smith of Lafayette; one sister-in-law, Catherine K. Guillory of Lafayette; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Clay J. and Jeanette Parr Theriot; husband, Donald F. Kreider; one son, William P. Kreider; and two sisters, Odette McKinney and Jeanne Shaw.
A Memorial Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Clyde Mahler celebrating the Mass. A memorial visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until Mass time. Mausoleum entombment services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Barbara’s honor may be given to Holy Cross Elementary School, 2100 Cedar St. Unit 2, Morgan City, LA 70380.
