Funeral services will be held Monday, November 28, 2016, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin during an 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial for Becky LeBlanc Picard, a native of St. Martinville and a resident of Franklin for the past 52 years who passed away at the age of 73 in the afternoon hours of Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Following the Mass she will be laid to rest in Perpetual Park Cemetery in Franklin. Father Cedric Sonnier will be the Celebrant for the Mass at conduct the services. Musical selections will be provided by Janet Sinitiere. Serving as pallbearers will be Sherri Johnson, Christopher Thibodeaux, Kelly Picard, Jeffery Billiot Jr., Brent Johnson, and Cody Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Alvin Picard Jr., Terry Billiot, and Chad Rogers Jr.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 8:30 a.m. until time of dismissal at 11:00 a.m.

Those she leaves to cherish her memory include her husband of 54 years, Alvin John Picard Sr.; three children, Sherri Picard Johnson and her husband Clyde Jr., Terry Picard Billiot and her fiancé Trip Daigle, and Alvin John Picard Jr. and his wife Lucinda; three siblings, Phillip LeBlanc, Barry LeBlanc, and Mary LeBlanc Gambrill; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Junest LeBlanc and Flora DeLaural LeBlanc; and an infant grandson, Dustin Johnson.
