Franklin falls to Patterson

PATTERSON _ The Franklin Lady Hornets came up on the short end of a 39-31 District 8-3A loss to the Patterson Lady Lumber Jills here Tuesday at the PHS Gym.
Franklin traveled to Patterson on Tuesday to take on the Lumber Jills in the second round of district play.
Leading the Lady Hornets in scoring were Kaira Butler with 14 points on 7 FGs. Sta’Trail Butler with 10 points on 4 FGs, including one trey, and 1 of 4 FTs. Ajontae McDaniel had 3 points on 1 FG and 1 of 2 FTs.
Jazmine Byers had 2 points on 2 of 2 FTs, and Jazmin Brent had 1 FG for 2 points.
Next up for the Lady Hornets and Hornets will be at home with Berwick on Friday. Starting time is 5:30 for the girls.
