BARBARA ANN AUCOIN

Barbara Ann Aucoin, 63, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Morgan City Health Care Center, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born on Dec. 1, 1952, in Morgan City, the daughter of Rudolph Paul Aucoin Sr. and Ada Guidry Aucoin.
Barbara was a devout Catholic, who enjoyed attending Mass at Sacred Heart. She loved to sing in church. She had a passion for music and dancing. She also enjoyed picking vegetables from the garden, being with her TARC family, spending time alone with the television, as well as vacation and travel. Barbara was a loving daughter, sister, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her brother, Rudolph Aucoin Jr. of Baton Rouge; cousins Earline Grizzaffi of Morgan City, Ronald Grizzaffi Jr. of Morgan City, Dean Grizzaffi of Stephensville, and many more; and two nephews and a niece, Dustin, Devin, and Heather.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph Paul Aucoin Sr. and Ada Guidry Aucoin; and a nephew, Rudy Aucoin.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, from 9 a.m. until Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Barbara will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
