JUDITH ANN BELANGER VINING

July 25, 1940- June 22, 2016
Judith Ann Belanger Vining, 75, a resident of Calumet, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans.
Judith was born July 25, 1940, in Morgan City, the daughter of Ivan Joseph Belanger and Joyce Valerie Shaw Belanger.
Judy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Delta Gamma Sorority. Judy could often be found in the boat or sitting on her back yard wharf fishing, with her cat beside her. She loved watching the birds eating from her bird feeders. She enjoyed planting flowers in her yard, making it colorful with beauty. Judy loved her cats! Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, always putting them first before herself.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two children, Valerie Leigh Bering and husband, John, of Jeanerette, and Connelly Brian Vining of Calumet; one step-granddaughter, Stephanie Bering; one sister, Ellen Grote and husband, Tommy, of Lafayette; and one sister-in-law, Cheryl D. Stelly of Berwick.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Joseph Belanger and Joyce Valerie Shaw Belanger; and husband, Herbert Connelly Vining.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home with the Rev. John Locascio officiating. A memorial visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Following the memorial service, Judith will be laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum.
