MARLENE THERESA WARD

Marlene Theresa Ward, 72, a resident of Houma, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Terrebonne General Medical Center.
She was born April 27, 1944, in Houma, the daughter of Allen McNemar and Theresa Hebert McNemar.
Marlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Chateau Terrebonne and Rosie McNemar for the care given to Marlene and her family.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Gerald J. Guillory and wife Adrianna of Morgan City; two daughters, Geraldine T. Soto and husband Albert of Morgan City, and Darlene Frye and husband Bill of Patterson; three stepdaughters, Lisa Ward and Cindy Ward, both of Roanoke, Virginia, and Jessica Ward of Bayou L’Ourse; five brothers, Glenn, J.C. (Jessie), Phillip, Allen and Michael McNemar; two sisters, Brenda Guillory and Peggy Verret; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ward; parents, Allen and Theresa McNemar; sister, Jody McNemar; and grandson, Samuel A Citrano III.
Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home Saturday, June 11, 2016, from 2 p.m. until service time. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m.
