Addie Johnson Dupont

Addie Johnson Dupont, a native of Bosco and longtime resident of Morgan City, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014, in Metairie. She was 96 years old.
Addie is survived by her three children, Kenneth Dupont of Metairie, her caretaker for the past five years and his wife, Renee; daughter, Beverly Miller of Morgan City and her husband, Ted; and daughter, Debbie Mosser of Plano, Texas, and her husband, Jim. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Dupont; a daughter, Barbara Dupont Cornes; a great-granddaughter, Brittany Maraist; and two sisters, Phil Brennan and Melba Pulley.
Visitation will be at Hargrave Funeral Home today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., continuing Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 8.30 a.m. until 10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday. Addie will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
