ALBERT DIGGS JR.

Mr. Albert Diggs Jr., 53, a resident of Centerville and native of Lafayette, died Friday, December 18, 2015, at 8:03 p.m., at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Dec. 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Otis Mortuary, Inc.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. Ronald C. Young officiating. Interment will follow in the New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Centerville.
Survivors include two sons, Jonathan Diggs of Centerville and Albert Wiggins of Port Arthur, TX; one daughter, Miss LaShantae Diggs of Centerville; two brothers, Herman Diggs (his wife, Rosaline) of St. Martinville and Kevin Diggs of Centerville; five sisters, Miss Ruth Diggs, Mrs. Sherry Peters and Miss Barbara Diggs, all of Centerville, Mrs. Betty James (her husband, Jerry) of Verdunville and Mrs. Valarie Webber (her husband, Glen) of Bakerktown; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Diggs was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
