BESSIE MARIE ‘PEE WEE’ POLIDORE

Bessie Marie “Pee Wee” Polidore, 56, a native of Lafayette and a resident of Jeanerette, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia, La., at 2:40 p.m.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 9, at Israelite Divine Spiritual Church #2, 120 Rosa Lane in Jeanerette, from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Sorrel Community Cemetery.
Bessie leaves to cherish her memories a son, Zechariah Demarcus Polidore of Jeanerette; seven sisters, Vera Mae Polidore and Janice Polidore, both of Jeanerette, Althea Mae Polidore and Stephanie Polidore, both of Four Corners, Elaine Defils of Franklin, Mrs. Julius (Ruth Ann) Anderson of Sorrell and Mrs. Michael (Glenda) Polidore of New Iberia; two godsons; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
