CARL JULIAN FROST

Carl Julian Frost, 86, passed away Monday, September, 2016 at his home in Breman, GA. Mr. Frost was born in Roanoke, AL on December 13, 1929. He was a longtime resident of Franklin.
Mr. Frost was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and a purple heart recipient.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-eight years, Hazel Truett Frost of Breman, GA; two sons, Harry Frost and wife, Clara of Sims, AL; and Carl James Frost; one daughter, Sandra Frost Harstmann and husband, Mark of Port St. Lucia, FL; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Jackie Perry and her husband Mike; and Anna Neff; one stepson, John Carroll and his wife Sharon; two sisters, Jane Powers and Kate Malloy of Franklin; and a longtime friend, Harley Still, also of Franklin. He also left behind 12 nieces; and 10 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anderson Frost; mother, Lois G. Frost; five brothers, Carvie Lee, Robert, James, Norman and Jack; three sisters, Frances Pitts, Polly Oldham and Patty Robinson.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Chester Pesnell officiating.
