CAROLYN FREDERICK CHATMAN

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin for Carolyn Frederick Chatman, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin who passed away at the age of 72 on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 at Franklin Foundation Hospital. Following services she will be laid to rest in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. Father Lloyd Benoit will conduct the services. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at Ibert’s from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Survivors include her son, Tim Sinitiere and his wife Erica; seven siblings, Betty Louviere and her husband Stanley, Sylvia DeMahy, Dianne Stelly, Donnie Frederick and his wife Mildred, Jeanette Pichoff, Terril Frederick and his wife Linda, and Viola Juneau; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Chatman; her parents, Didier Adam Frederick and Viola Robicheaux Frederick; seven siblings, Barbara Choate, Charles Frederick, Tommy Frederick, Jimmy Frederick, Wayne Frederick, Michael Frederick Sr., and Hazel Frederick; her in-laws, Bill DeMahy, Raymond Stelly, R.J. Pichoff, Vernon Juneau, and Ray Choate; and three nieces, one nephew, and one great nephew.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to help alleviate funeral expenses.
