CAROLYN LAJAUNIE

Carolyn LaJaunie, 73, a native of Plaquemine and resident of Bourg, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015.
Carolyn was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener, loved working in her home and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, James A. “Jim” LaJaunie Sr.; son, James A. (Sherry G.) LaJaunie Jr.; daughter, Lori LaJaunie (Brian) Mustin; and grandchildren, Anthony “Tony” LaJaunie, Parker Mustin, Patrick Mustin and Preston Mustin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. Keith Sr. and Effie Tullia Keith; and a brother, George W. Keith Jr.
Visitation was held today, Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial was held today, Monday, Jan. 4, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery.
