CARRIE MAE SOPHUS CARSON

Carrie Mae Sophus Carson, 67, a resident and native of Franklin, died Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 5:18 a.m., at her residence following a long illness.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, March 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m., at Otis Mortuary, Inc.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at St. Jules Catholic Church in Franklin. Interment will follow in the St. John Cemetery in Franklin.
Survivors include three sons, Jeffery Carson Jr., Tommy Carson Sr. and Shannon Carson, all of Franklin; one brother, Clarence Sophus of Franklin; seven sisters, Elizabeth Harris, Delores Willis, Marie Sophus, Mary Sophus and Mildred Sophus, all of Franklin, Lucy Williams of New Iberia and Diane Richardson of Jeanerette; 10 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
