CHARLES ‘GILLA’ ROBINSON

Charles “Gilla” Robinson, 64, a resident and native of Franklin died Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his residence at 1:15 pm.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday July 9, 2016 at the Mount Zion Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow funeral services in the St. John Cemetery on Pecot Street in Franklin. Pastor Noah Smith will officiate the services.
Memories of “Gilla,” as he was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of his four brothers, Albert Robinson, Edmond Robinson, Christopher Robinson and William Robinson Jr., all of Franklin; seven sisters, Delores Polidore, Gloria Robinson, Victoria Robinson, Annie Bell Green, Helen Clarks and Bessie Mae Kelly, all of Franklin, and Dora Lee Clarks of Ellenwood, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, sister in law and brothers-in-law.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
