CHARLOTTE FUSELIER BERNADOU

Funeral services for Charlotte Fuselier Bernadou will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson during a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian burial. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest with her late husband in the Berwick Cemetery. Father Herb Bennerfield will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services.
Charlotte was a native of Iowa, Louisiana, and was a longtime resident of Patterson. She loved hunting, fishing, and camping with her husband, was an avid reader, and her dogs were her world. She passed away at the age of 72 on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at Teche Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; as well as her devoted dogs, Kokomo and Snickerdoodle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, O’Neal Bernadou; her parents, David Fuselier and Gertrude Haggert Fuselier; four brothers, Russell, Jim, Paul and Lester; and four sisters, Bertha, Agnes, Eva Jean and Catherine.
