COACH BUDD ANTHONY WHITE

Coach Budd Anthony White, 66, a resident and native of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at 6:27 a.m., at Lafayette General Hospital following a short illness. He was a retired coach and teacher of St. Mary Parish School System at Franklin Senior High.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, June 11, from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Otis Mortuary Chapel in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the St. Jules Catholic Church in Franklin. Interment will follow in the Oddfellow Cemetery on Pecot St. in Franklin. Father Peter will be officiating minister.
Survivors include one son, Shawune (Shemika) White of Lafayette; two daughters, Shermica White of Lafayette and Shaylonda (Jonathan) Thorn of Carencro; two brothers, Mack (Helen) White of Houston, TX and Raymond White of Patterson; three sisters, Elizabeth Johnson and Dorothy Bradley, both of Franklin, and Mary Calloway of Houma; and six grandchildren.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
