CURTIS ‘KOOL-AID’ JOHN GORDON

Curtis “Kool-Aid” John Gordon, 54, a resident of Morgan City (Siracusa) and a native of Jeanerette passed away on Thursday August 6, 2015 at his residence in Morgan City.
Visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday August 15, at the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Jeanerette. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Arthur Alexander officiating.
Those left to cherish wonderful memories of “Kool-Aid” are his three daughters, Mrs. Ronnie (Latoya) Sibley of Alexandria, Christina Gordon and Particia Gordon, both of Houston, TX; four sisters, Cynthia Jones, Jewelen F. Gordon-Crawford and Mrs. Troy (Gerselda S.) Bourgeois all of Texas City, TX, and Mary Ann Gordon Narcisse; three brothers, Rayford A. Gordon and Joe K. Solco of Jeanerette, and Darnell Rubbins; his fiancée, Lois Pellerin of Morgan City; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his father, his mother, one grandchild, and two brothers-in-law.
