DANIEL ANTHONY DARDAR

Daniel Anthony Dardar, 60, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Thibodaux, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 6:54 p.m., in Arlington, TX.
Visitation will be from 5-10 p.m. on Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January, 17, at Beacon Light Baptist Church of Houma, 4325 West Park Avenue in Gray, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Michele Leisa Dardar of Thibodaux; one son, Carlton DeHart; three stepsons, Alvin (Jessica) Tillman, Lamarr (Melissa) Tillman, and Christopher (Britney) Tillman, all of Thibodaux; four daughters, Odie Dehart of Bayou Vista, Morgan Reed, Megan Reed and Mrs. Lee Michelle Brasseaux, all of Houma; six sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Relta) Garcia of Bayou Vista, Mrs. Lawrence (Sharon) Hendon, Mrs. Tedrick (Patty) Johnson, Mrs. Levis (Sarah) Dardar, Mrs. Orlando (Esther) Navarro and Mrs. Alberado (Sana) Carajal, all of Houma; four brothers, Joseph (Darla) Dardar of Bayou Vista, Terry (Susan) Dardar, Gary (Mandy) Dardar and Micheal (Laura Lee) Dardar of Thibodaux; his mother-in-law; sister-in-law; brothers-in-law; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and two godchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild and two brothers.
He was a tugboat captain for over 42 years, loved to cook and entertain, and was a world class arm wrestler.
