Daniel Wilson

Daniel Wilson, 86, a native of Inglewood and a resident of Siracusa, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Lafayette General Hospital.
Visitation will be observed Saturday at the Siracusaville Recreation Center from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Roland Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery with military honors.
Wilson was a veteran of the United States Army. The East St. Mary Funeral Squad will perform at graveside.
Survivors include four daughters, Patricia A. Bell, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Shirley Walker, of Weleetka, Oklahoma, Sandra Phillips, of Morgan City, and Charlene Wilson, of Aliso Viejo, California; one brother, Charles Wilson, of Morgan City; two sisters, Ruby Clemons, of Phoenix, Arizona, and Gloria Johnson, of Morgan City; and a host of grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, two sisters and one grandson.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City, Franklin, Jeanerette and Houma is in charge of arrangements.
