DARA LYNN LOCKLEY BRUNER

Mrs. Dara Lynn Lockley Bruner, 44, a resident of Baldwin and native of Franklin, died Sunday, November 9, 2014, at 8:24 p.m., at Lafayette General Medical Center following a short illness.
Visitations will be Saturday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Otis Mortuary Inc. Chapel, located at 501 Willow St. in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with Elder Michael Ford and Elder Donald Lancelin officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery on the bayou side on Main St.
Survivors include her husband, Retired Policeman, David L. Bruner Sr. of Baldwin; father, Mr. Arthur C. Lockley III of New Iberia; stepmother, Mrs. Jescenia F. Lockley of New Iberia; two sons, D’Ontae Juanez Lockley of Lafayette and Mace E. Copeland IV of Franklin; one daughter, Ms. Desiree Leah Copeland of Franklin; three brothers, Kerwin (his wife, Cyndee) Bowser of Salt Lake City, UT; Erric (his wife, Tippini) of Dallas, TX; and Arthur C. Lockley IV of Irvin, TX; four sisters, Mrs. Monica (her husband, Gabriel) John of Franklin; Mrs. Bridgett (her husband, Arnell) Burke of Hahnville, LA.; Ms. Lesa Jones of Houston, TX; and Mrs. LaShawn (her husband, Abraham) Thibodeaux of Youngsville; and one stepdaughter, Ms. Thais L. Williams of Byron, GA.
Mrs. Bruner was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents and one grandchild.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
