DARRELL JOSEPH ‘JOE’ MAZE

Darrell Joseph “Joe” Maze, 64, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Patterson, passed away on Saturday March 7, 2015 at the Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City at 3:56 a.m.
Visitation will be observed from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. on Saturday March 14, the Railroad Avenue Church of Christ, 1105 Railroad Avenue in Morgan City, with Stanley Rankins officiating the services. Burial will follow in the Home Industrial Cemetery of Patterson.
Cherished and divine memories of “Joe Maze,” as he was known, will forever be remembered by his loving and devoted wife, Ivy Jean Maze of Patterson; a caring daughter, Mrs. Lenny (DeWan) Jenkins of Morgan City; two granddaughters; six beloved sisters, Elaine Bettis (Lynn) of Beaumont, TX, Gwendolyn Broussard, Mrs. Eric (Mary) Verdun and Mrs. Lionell (Beverly) Jones, all of Patterson, Mrs. Charles (Lavone A.) Gray of Berwick and Mrs. Stanley (Della) Rankins of Morgan City; as well as several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
“Joe” was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and three brothers.
