DELVIN LASHAWN GUY

Delvin Lashawn Guy, 27, a resident of Youngsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 9:50 a.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.
Visitation will be observed Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the New Life Christian Center, 207 Bayard Street in New Iberia, from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Arthur Lee Alexander and the Rev. Chester Hills officiating the services. Burial will follow in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery of Jeanerette.
Memories of Delvin will forever remain in the hearts of his son, Karson Romero of Youngsville; five brothers, Donald Guy of Youngsville, Travis Guy of Jeanerette, Terry Rubbins Jr. of Columbus, OH, Taj Rubbins-Arceneaux of Texas City, TX and Trevon Rubbins of Houston, TX; three sisters, Jamasian Guy of New Iberia, TeLania Rubbins and Mrs. Michael (Tanya Rubbins)-Chaney, all of Houston, TX; 12 nieces, nine nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Delvin was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, three aunts, and two uncles.
