DOROTHY MAE BERRY-LANE

On Tuesday morning, January 13, 2015, God sent his angel to the Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City, to deliver Dorothy Mae Berry-Lane, 87, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Morgan City, to her eternal resting place, at 3:30 a.m.
Mrs. Lane was an educator retired from the St. Mary Parish School System.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, January 17, at the New Zorah Baptist Church, 604 Julia Street in Morgan City, from 12 noon until funeral services at 2 p.m. The Rev. Terry L. Joseph Sr. will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Cherished and divine memories of “Dorothy Mae” will forever be remembered by her beloved and loving son, Terrence “Terry” Lane of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Iola Harris of Morgan City and Mary L. Berry of Kenner; one grandson; one nephew; as well as other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Lane was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
