Earl Johnson Sr.

Earl Johnson Sr., 69, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Patterson, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at the Carpenter House in Baton Rouge.
Visitation will be Tuesday at the Patterson Civic Center from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery, with military honors. Minister E. Simmons will officiate the services.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne V. Johnson, of Patterson; two sons, Earl Johnson Jr., of Bayou Vista, and Troy Wendell Johnson Sr., of Houston; one daughter, Libra Danielle Johnson-Lindon, of Patterson; three brothers, Herbert Johnson, of Gibson, Sullivan Johnson, of Port Arthur, Texas, and Henry Johnson Jr., of Morgan City; two sisters, Francis Bryant and Phyllis Johnson, both of Port Arthur, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
