EMIL WASHINGTON JR.

Emile Washington Jr., 75, a native of Waterproof and resident of Morgan City, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Ephesian Baptist Church in Morgan City. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church, the Rev. Ezekiel Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
He is survived by his companion; three sons, Michael Washington of California, Kevin Morris of Las Vegas and Charles Pool of Arlington, Texas; two daughters, Lula Lee of Waterproof and Shelia Mouton of Morgan City; one brother, Wash Henry of Atlanta; three sisters, Rosie W. Ellis and Ceola Washington, both of New Orleans, and Leola Washington of Atlanta; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one brother-in-law.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
