A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, September 8, 2014, at 12 noon, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville for Erin Gaudet Borne, 65, a native of Franklin, former resident of Centerville and longtime resident of Gonzales, who passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014, her 65th birthday, in Centerville. She will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Ruben Primor will officiate the Mass, with Father O’Neil Landry con-celebrating.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville from 9 a.m. until time of service, with the rosary being prayed at 11 a.m.
Survivors include her son, Chad Borne and his wife, Cameron; three grandchildren, Rhett, Wyatt and Stuart Borne; her brother, Eric Gaudet Jr.; as well as one niece, two nephews, other family members and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Borne; and her parents, Eric Gaudet Sr. and Beatrice Hidalgo Gaudet.
