EVELYN ANN PICHOFF TREADWAY

Funeral services for Evelyn Ann Pichoff Treadway will be held Friday, September 23, 2016, at 3 p.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin. Father Cedric Sonnier will officiate the service. Inurment will be held at a later date in Ville Platte.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at Ibert’s from 10 a.m. until time of service, with the rosary being prayed at 2 p.m.
Evelyn was a native of Iberia Parish, a former longtime resident of Baldwin and Harvey, and has been a resident of Franklin for the past ten years. A loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was the rock and heart of her family. She was also a giving and helpful person who always had an open door and open arms and was always the life of the party. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her children, Carley J. Treadway Jr., Blanche T. Doucet and her husband, Darrin; Aaron “Ronnie” Fontenot and his wife, Shirley; Michael Polit, and Bonnie Smart and her husband, Mike; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 48 years, Carley J. “Sonny” Treadway; her parents, Lee Anthony Pichoff Sr. and Genevieve Prince Pichoff; two brothers, Lee Pichoff Jr. and Larry Pichoff; and two sisters, Louise P. Bahwell and Judy P. Moreau.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to help alleviate final expenses.
