EVELYN MIGUES ROBISON

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin for Mrs. Evelyn Migues Robison, 79, a native of Jeanerette and lifelong resident of Baldwin, who peacefully passed away Thursday. February 26, 2015 surrounded by her family. She will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Baldwin. Fr. Gregory Cormier will be the celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the burial services.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m.
Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed Scrabble, cards, outings to the casino and crossword puzzles. She had a loving, faithful and nurturing spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Robison Sr., and her parents Bernard Migues and Elvie Migues Guidry and her step father Sydney Guidry.
Survivors include her six children, Cynthia “Cindy” Robison Guillotte and her husband, Lonnie Guillotte, of Charenton; Jed Robison and his wife, Diane Z. Robison, of Baldwin; Robert “Robby” Robison Jr. and his wife, Donna S. Robison, of Baldwin; Angela “Angel” Robison Dupre and her husband, Danny Dupre, of Charenton; Jamie Robison and his wife, Kelly L. Robison, of Franklin; and Timothy Robison and his wife, Angie S. Robison, of Franklin; 16 grandchildren, Kimberly Robison Broussard, Jacob P. Guillotte, Hannah Guillotte Doucet, Wess A. Robison and Kristy Robison Dupre, Scott D. Dupre, Danielle Dupre Naquin, Mandy Dupre Peltier, Jessie Dupre Duhon, Dane B. Robison, Casey J. Robison, Taylor Robison, Becca Robison, Bella Robison, Angelique Ponville Gorman and Erin Ponville Oxborrow; 30 great grandchildren; and sisters, Lorainne Daigle and Patricia “Pat” Vincent and her husband, Gene Vincent.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jacob Guillotte, Wess Robison, Scott Dupre, Dane Robison, Casey Robison and Eric Broussard. Reading scriptures for the Mass will be Hannah Guillotte Doucet and Mandy Dupre Peltier. Bringing up the gifts for Mass will be Cindy Robison Guillotte and Angel Robison Dupre.
