EVELYN S. WHITE POSTEN

Evelyn S. White Posten, a native of Sipsey, Alabama, and a resident of Morgan City, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at the age of 81.
Evelyn leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Jackie McCain and her companion, Austin Darby Jr.; her grandchildren, Marcus McCain and his wife, Michaela, Samuel McCain and his wife, Marita, Jenna Posten, and Phillip Posten Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Harper McCain, Carson Ortega and Marcus Ortega; stepgreat-grandchildren, Cody, Brooke and Abby Voisin; and one brother, Charles White and his wife, Donna.
She joins in heaven her husband, Sammy Posten; her companion, Jerry Shaw; her son, Phillip Posten Sr.; her parents, Cleophus White and Lola Cranford; two brothers, Carlos White and Robert White; and one sister, Sherrel Guthrie
In keeping with the family’s wishes, services for Evelyn will be held privately at a later date.
