FLAVIA LODRIGUE

Flavia Lodrigue, 81, a resident of Patterson, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Flavia was born on Aug. 7, 1933, in Morgan City, the daughter of Emile and Pauline Giroir Solar.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons, David Anthony Lodrigue and Alvin Peter Lodrigue Jr., both of Bayou Vista, and Lubby Joseph Lodrigue of Morgan City; one daughter, Alice Marie Lodrigue of Gonzales; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Emile D. Solar and wife, Faye, of Morgan City and Calvin John Solar of Texas; three sisters, Vina May Glynn of Plaquemine, and Leona Davis and Evelyn Marie Duval, both of Morgan City; and two special nephews, James Duval and Melvin Duval.
Flavia was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bengie Thomas Lodrigue; one daughter, Connie Rachel Lodrigue; one grandson, Bengie LaFleur; one brother, Robert Jacob Solar; and two sisters, Elizabeth Stansbury and Lena Breaux.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Twin City Funeral Home with visitation resuming from 8 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Flavia will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the services.
