GERTRUDE HARRIS JORDAN

Mrs. Gertrude Harris Jordan, 75, a resident and native of Morgan City, died February 25, 2016, at 11:19 a.m., at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City following a short illness.
Visitations will be at Little Zion Baptist Church in Berwick Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the church, with the Rev. W.J. Otis Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Timothy Jordan Jr. of Port Arthur, TX, Kevin Jordan of Houston, TX and Darye B. Livas of Los Angeles, CA; eight daughters, Lisa Jordan, Betty Jordan and Nichole Hillebrant, all of Morgan City, Tonya Jordan and Keren Jordan, both of Arlington, TX, Toni Jordan of Lancaster, CA, Dianne Jordan of Los Angeles, CA and Dionne Washington of Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Saundra Jean Harris of Clarksville, MD and Mrs. Linda Diego of Los Angeles, CA; 22 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, six sisters and one grandson.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
