HAMMON POLK

Hammon Polk, a resident of Loreauville, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016.
Visitations will be held Saturday, Oct.29, 2016 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church #1.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery #1 in Loreauville.
Survivors include three sons, John C. Polk and Hammon III (Sherry) Polk of New Iberia, Christopher (Angela) Polk of Houston, TX; two daughters, Gwendolyn (Morgan Jr.) Thomas of Baldwin, and Gail (Larry Sr.) Mouton of New Iberia; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild on the way and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and devoted friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Charles Polk; mother, Mary Green Polk; father, Hammon Polk Sr.; brothers, Charles, Yancy and Riley Polk; sisters, Mary Polk Roberts and Betty Polk Carrier; his daughter, Carla Polk St. Julien; grandsons, Eddie Jr., Brian, Bradley and Reginald O. Cahee.
