HAROLD J. ALLEMOND SR.

Funeral services for Harold J. Allemond Sr. will be held during an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson on Friday, March 13, 2015. He will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rev. Angelo Cremaldi will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services.
A gathering of family and friends will be held today at Ibert’s Mortuary in Patterson from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., with the rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m. Visiting hours will resume Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 8 a.m. and continue until time of service.
Mr. Harold was a native of Arnaudville and a resident of Patterson for the past 41 years. He passed away at the age of 71 on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Deanna Robin Allemond; three sons, Tony James Allemond and his wife Diane, David Jude Allemond and fiancée René White, and Harold J. Allemond Jr. and his wife Sherrel; six brothers, Allen, Raoul Jr., Russell, Tony, Wayne, and Joseph Allemond; three sisters, Thelma Robin, Mildred Robin and Irma Richard; six grandchildren, Jeremy Allemond and his wife Taryn, Halie Toups and her husband Quinn, Tony James Allemond Jr., Alexus Allemond, Zachary Allemond, and Emily Allemond; eight great-grandchildren, Zane, Zoey, Jeremy Jr., Adalyn, Isabella and Baby Toups, Rylee, Natalie, and Mazlie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raoul Allemond Sr. and Julia Olivier Allemond; three brothers, Henry, Bobby and Mervin Allemond; and three sisters, Bertha Credeur, Cathy Carroll and Agnes Courville.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tony James Allemond, David Jude Allemond, Harold J. Allemond Jr., Jeremy Allemond, Tony James Allemond Jr., and Quinn Toups. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Allemond and Zane Guillory.
