HAYWARD VERDUN

Hayward Verdun, 77, a native and resident of Verdunville, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at Tulane University Hospital at 12:23 p.m.
Hayward was a veteran of the United States Army.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 2, at St. Jules Catholic Church, 601 Magnolia St., Franklin, from 8 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m.
Hayward leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Patricia S. Verdun of Verdunville; four sons, Hayward A. Verdun of Verdunville, Terrance O. Verdun of Bakersfield, California, Galen Verdun of Franklin and Courtland Verdun of New Orleans; three daughters, Deon D. Coates of Cincinnati, Ohio, Shannon Verdun of Verdunville and Victoria A. Matthews of Baldwin; one sister, Irma Thomas of Yaden, Pennsylvania; 18 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Mr. Verdun was preceded in death by his parents.
