Helen Elizabeth Boyd-Welch, 79, a native and a resident of Franklin, died Monday, August 4, 2014 at 6:18 a.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 9, at The Crossing Place in Franklin, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Perpetual Park Cemetery in Franklin.
Helen leaves to cherish her memories; four sons, Henderson Welch Jr. of Seattle, Washington, Larry Gene (Suzette) Welch and John (Lori Ann) Boyd, both of Franklin, and Steven (Kimberly) Boyd of New Iberia; five daughters, Mary Beth (Henry) Whitehead, Stephanie Ann (Northern) Gibson and Susan Boyd, all of Franklin, Julie Boyd of McComb, Mississippi and Andrea Boyd (Larry Martin) of Jeanerette; and a sister, Albertine Washington of Franklin; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Deborah Boyd, three brothers and a sister.
