HERBERT ‘BB’ ENGLETON

Herbert “BB” Engleton Sr., 79, a resident and native of Berwick, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., at his residence following a short illness.
Visitations will be observed Friday, July 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Little Zion Baptist Church in Berwick.
Burial rites will be read Friday, at 1 p.m., at the church, with the Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the Berwick Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Engleton of Morgan City and Herbert Engleton Jr. of Alexandria; one daughter, Annie Chapman of Morgan City; three brothers, Robert Engleton Sr. of Berwick, Jessie Engleton Sr. of Jeanerette and Rogers Engleton of Killeen, TX; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
