Herbert Gussman, 78, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016, in his home surrounded by his family.
He was born May 26, 1937, in Morgan City, the son of Albert Gussman and Edna Giroir Gussman.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his one son, Darren Gussman and wife, Debra, of Schriever; two daughters, Cheryl Pitre of Breaux Bridge and Cindy Gussman of Morgan City; two brothers, David Gussman and Wade Gussman; four sisters, Jenny Berry, Judy Solar, Elaine Gussman and Sylvia Roques; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Gussman and Edna Giroir Gussman; brother, Raymond Gussman Sr.; grandson, Glynn Carter; great-granddaughter, Isabella Verrett; and son-in-law, Ray Pitre.
In accordance with Herbert’s wishes, no services will be arranged.
