John Gilbert Augman, 49, a former resident of Morgan City, died Sunday, September 14, 2014, at 1:11 p.m., at his residence.
Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 22 at the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Morgan City, from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Morgan City Cemetery in Morgan City.
John leaves to cherish his memories his father, William Augman Sr. of Morgan City; three brothers, William Augman Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Reginald (Juanita) Augman of Patterson and Micheal Bradford of Morgan City; four sisters, Patricia Johnson and Betty Augman, both of Morgan City, Vanessa Hebert of Phoenix, Arizona and Renita Augman of Berwick; his companion, Erma Bates of Sunshine, La.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister.
