JOSEPH JENKINS

A Celebration of Life for Joseph Jenkins will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016, at 2 p.m., at St. Moses Baptist Church in Jeanerette (Sorrel Area). Bishop B.K. Stevens will conduct the service.
He will be buried in Special Providence Baptist Church, Baldwin.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 9, 2016, at 10 a.m. until the time of service at St. Moses Baptist Church.
Left in God’s care are his wife, Shawn Harris Jenkins of Baldwin; two sons, Joseph Harris of Mesa, AZ; and Dasmond Harris of Baldwin; two daughters, Latonya Harris of Lake Charles and Tiara Harris of Baldwin; Tremaine Fontenot of Jeanerette, whom he reared as his own son; five brothers, Paul Jenkins of Baldwin; and Raymond Jenkins (Loretta) of Glencoe; Brian Jenkins (Yolanda) of Atlanta, GA; Lionel Jenkins of Franklin; and William Jenkins Jr. (Audrey) Jennings; one sister, Esther Moore of Jeanerette; mother-in-law, Fannie Harris of Baldwin; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Williams Jenkins Sr. and Louvinia Rudolph Jenkins; two brothers, Ronnie Jenkins and John Jenkins Sr.; and two sisters, Barbara Lynn Jenkins and Debra Charatain.
