JOYCE JUANITA KEY WILLIAMS

Joyce Juanita Key Williams, 62, a resident and native of Jeanerette, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at 4:55 p.m. at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Park Avenue Church of Christ in Franklin with Brother Cornelius Lewis officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morning Pilgrim Cemetery in Jeanerette.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Williams, III of Jeanerette; one son, Fred Williams, IV of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Anthony (Shannon) Johnson of Jeanerette; Evangelist Jeremiah (Denetra) Asomugha of Houston, TX; one brother, Joseph Key, Jr.; one sister, Mary L. Jordan, all of Jeanerette; two aunts, four uncles, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchildren, god-mother, one brother-in-law, five sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Key, Sr. and Juanita “Hilda” Claville-Key; two brothers, one sister and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
