Julie Ann Sanders

Julie Ann Sanders, 61, a native of New Orleans and resident of Morgan City, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans.
Julie is survived by her three brothers, Gordon Sanders and wife, Carla, of Patterson, Glenn Sanders of Panama City, Fla., and Gary Sanders and wife, Angie, of Carencro; two sisters, Sue Sanders and Tom Hunt of Greenwell Springs and Lesley Huval and husband, Eric, of New Iberia; two stepbrothers, Duane Gilbert and Michael Gilbert; one stepsister, Gretchen Tapia; along with 18 nieces and nephews.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Sanders and Betty Gilbert; one sister, Catherine Sanders MacLachlan; and one stepfather, Thomas Gilbert.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Twin City Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. Julie will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the services.
