KATHERINE MITCHELL KITCHINGS

Mrs. Katherine Mitchell Kitchings, 88, a resident and native of Franklin, died Monday, March 3, 2014, at 8:23 p.m., at her home following a short illness.
She is survived by two sons, Gregory J. (Christanella) Mitchell of Franklin and Gary C. Kitchings of Springfield of Ohio; one brother, Charles Mitchell of Franklin; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitations will be observed Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church in Baldwin.
Burial rites will be read Tuesday, at 1 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. Junius Egdy officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
