Memorial services for Larry Michael Higgins will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014, at 4 p.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary, with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 1 p.m. Larry was a native of Morgan City and a longtime resident of Franklin who passed away Friday, February 14, 2014, at the age of 59 at his niece’s home in Gibson.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Bonin Higgins; two brothers, Clarence Higgins Jr. and Bobby Higgins; two sisters, Alice H. Callahan and Judy Higgins; a special niece, Katina Mayon and her husband, Adley; as well as other numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Higgins Sr. and Leona Lombus Higgins; and one brother, Stephen Higgins.
