LILLIAN BEAUTY SMITH

Lillian Beauty Smith, 89, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of New Orleans and Richmond, Texas, died Sunday, September 14, 2014, at 12:17 a.m., in Richmond.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20 at First Corinthian Baptist Church, 1114 Church Street in Houma. Burial will follow in St. Luke Baptist Cemetery in Theriot.
She is survived by two sons, Newell Jay (Francine) Smith and Reginald Wayne (Lisa) Smith, both of Richmond; two daughters, Mrs. Rogers (Sandra) Smith-Thomas of Patterson and Illona Catherine Smith of Houma; two sisters, Mildred Beauty-Henry and Mercedes Beauty-Moses of Houma; 20 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
